About Collaroy veterinary hospital

As animals bring such joy to family life, keeping your pet healthy is important. For over 20 years, we have been looking after pets on the Northern Beaches. We take pride in keeping our patients in good condition with regular health checks and vaccinations and we expertly deal with unexpected illnesses or trauma. We are open 7 days a week, and provide emergency vet service 24 hours a day.

Peter started up Collaroy Veterinary Hospital at Pittwater Road in 1997 and since then, the independent practice has grown to a full-service animal hospital offering all aspects of vet care including preventative care, emergency medicine, diagnostics, in-house laboratory, surgery and dentistry.

Our dedicated team of vets and nurses are known for their compassion and expertise. They genuinely care and like to make sure our patients are at ease and comfortable at all times. Their experience, accredited education and ongoing studies gives you peace of mind that your pet is given the best possible treatment at every visit.

Our in-house capabilities set us apart from other local practices, as we can offer our patients continuity of care by using the latest veterinary technologies such as radiology, endoscopy, and orthopedic surgery. Keeping your animal close to home in a familiar environment under the care of one veterinary team reduces unnecessary stress, travel, and blown-out costs when more complex care is required.

From making your first appointment to post-treatment follow ups, we ensure your pet receives the most excellent care and we keep you informed along the way about the treatment options, cost and after care at home. We welcome all types of pets, not only dogs and cats. We also care for birds, reptiles, wildlife and farm animals such as horses. Your animal friends are in safe hands with us and we look forward to seeing you and your pets.

What our clients say

“Have always found everyone to be professional, happy to help and really supportive, particularly when we have been distressed by our dog’s injuries. We were given options at all times, and support for our views on possible treatments and options. Really friendly practice, our dog loves going there and that’s what’s important to us” C Rogers
